this show came to my school today to film a live show and i got to cover it for the school paper. heres the only pic i edited so far since i have to study and take an online test before 10 so the rest will be up tomorrow. it was a great time and alot of fun before to see all the protesters outside and to hear what obama had to say live. let me know what u guys think. (please no political debates)

Do you have rights to the photos or does the school? Presidential candidate photos are in pretty high demand right now, obviously, and that looks really good.

TV studio lights are what's up. Nice shot, good exposure. Every expression is great and really adds to the shot... except the girl all the way to the right. I'd probably crop her out.

i never really thought about it but i would assume that i do. i wouldnt even know where to try sending the pic to anyone that might be interested in it

yea it was a live event and the lighting for tv definitely made it a lot easier

The pictures look almost too good??? (is that possible?) Actually, they look kind of 2 dimensional after looking at them, I can't tell if I'm watching it on TV, or there in person.

thats one of the best things ive heard that they are too good. the way they had the grid lighting up top for the show really helped make the pictures feel like you're sitting right in front of him listening to them talk. thanks

and that one pic does kinda like like a caricature, its a little blurry and i guess the way the curves, color balance, and sharpen in the batch made it look goofy like that. might have to go back and try to re-edit that one

They look really good. They have a nice feel even for photo journalistic shots. I assume you shot these with the 70-200 2.8?
