New Kicks for the TurdBox

Picked these up last week. They're 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with a +35 and +30 offset. They'd allready be on the car but I need tires and 5 lug hubs. Ichiba hubs are on a 2 week backorder

They'll be wrapped in Toyo T01R's this week.

Slowly making progress on the car. The silvia front should be going on next week hopefully.

Nice wheels, you pick them up new?
Are you going to run spacers?

Z32 Non-turbo rear hubs, fronts have to be aftermarket, or S14 with a bit of mods.

Diggin the wheels, definitely call for spacers tho.

My corny Sportmaxes were runnin 50mm spacers up front and 10mm spacers out back. I'm probably gonna run the same 10mm in the back and maybe 35's in the front due to the front tire being an inch wider than the Sportmaxes.

I'm gonna get model specific H&R spacers. None of that stupid universal ****. Universal spacers allow for crazy lateral load on wheel studs and a bad ending to a track day.

I'm gettin the Ichiba hubs becasue they're bolt on and they come with OEM wheel bearings also.

I'm also gonna be running NISMO extended studs on all four corners as well as RAYS extended lug nutz.

HOLY **** 50mm is alot of spacer haha.
I plan on picking up some track wheels/beater wheels soon and will probably go the same route with the spacers.
Its def a good decision to go name brand on everything.
What tire sizes you gonna run on the Toyos?

why didn't you just buy wider wheels with a lower offet? Those are kinda weak for a 240. I could bolt those up on my wrx without a problem. lol

1. I'm WAY to impatient to wait for new wheels

2. They're 9.5in wide out back. On R compounds they should hold fine at the track. The toyo's are just for the street. I have a tire mounting machine, so switching tires is no problem.

3. 245/40/18 tires are pretty cheap. I'm not out to impress people with how much money I spent on my rims. I'll impress people with race results. I'd rather use my money for brake pads and tires than 3k in rims.
