Any Marketing Guru's Here?
Which do the marketing guys prefer to use, the word "ANY or the word "EVERY"? Or do you have an alternative (and I don't want to use all). I'm leaning towards "EVERY", but I want some more advice. This has been holding me up for about 4 months now and I need to pick one. ![]() ![]() Any other advice is appreciated, such as capital letters vs non, any other words, etc. Thanks! |

I've got damn close to a couple hundred replies on a couple of sites, and you are the first that stated any! I thought it was a tough decision (obviously, since I'm asking), but it seems like the general, overwhelming answer is every.

"any" to me implies that the budget has yet to be created by the prospective client.
While "every" feels as if you're ready to work with the budget they've created. And you're saying, "we know you know you're business, and we're ready to work with you" |

i would use any and i would capitalize it. Reason being that it is much more broad than every. Also, every just sounds a little juvenile compared to any.
Just to state where I am coming from, I will have my MBA in Marketing in May.

any seems like your generalizing, like "we need business we will take you NO MATTER WHAT" or, "we will take what we can get". every sounds more personal, like "we cater to people like YOU, and know what people like YOU need". Consumers want to feel like they were selected as individuals, not like they are being herded into something. just my .02

Every budget. Any is a desparate plea!

every... it's slightly more positive
any.. carries a more negative tone (just slightly) you could also try "all" budgets, but, thats kind of middle of the road.

Bright ideas for your budget!
Puts it into a more personal level, something people like these days. It also depends on the kind of firm putting out the slogan, but if it were up to me, I would say it like I did...is this for work or a school project or what?

Every, it sounds more inclusive. Any sounds negative, like we will do it if we have too. If your goal is a personalized touch then go with "Bright ideas that fit your budget."
I would also either drop the yellow period or make it blue.
