Satanville Trip - Photos

Went to "Satanville" last night with my g/f and a female friend. We were unable to park/exit the vehicle due to a larger amount of vehicle traffic and the road being extremely narrow. We got what shots we could in the dimming light. No artistic attempt at all, just photo documentation of the event:

Heading down Chadds Ford Road (Route 100):

Creepy old house thing on Chadds Ford Road:

Intersection of CFR and Cossart (Fromt CFR heading South):

When you first turn onto Cossart from CFR:

Trees that grow away from the road:

"Skull Tree":

Pickup that followed us:

Supposed location of the "church", again we couldn't park and go investigate:

The house behind the trees in the above photo, shown from above:

The actual CREEPY tree (Looks like a babies head/arm in the center?!?):

Creepy tree cropped and brightened:

That is all... lol.

Yeah, they have them cut back so that the power company can work on the lines with out getting caught up in the branches.

Dude that baby with the arm is freaky as ****. I'm gonna drive down there after I go see 21. I'll probably be there around 10ish. Just look for some way to bright HID's and yellow fogs.

i'm pretty sure the church is abandoned...but not positive.

the "cult house", however, actually has an old guy living there.

he refuses to allow anyone to interview him...including reporters. :/

which house did you find? the "satan house" or the dupont mansion

i have never ever ever seen the church that is supposedly up there. Some guys from PA did a documentary on this road and couldn't find it either. They tried to interview the guy who lived in the house but, they were stopped at the guard house. The guy living at the guard house was evidentially really nice until they asked to speak to the other guy. He refused and told them that he collects all of his mail & if they had anything to leave, they could leave it with him. Supposedly, the old guy has an extensive expensive art collection.

Yes and where is said "house" relative to the road? There are multiple houses in that general area.

haha that i'm not actually sure of.
i've done a ton of research and there's a lot of ambiguity between the two.

but from what i've looked at from google earth maps and from the experience of others...i think i found the "cult house"

the drive way was gated off from cars, so i walked up a long hill of a driveway, saw the lake to my right, what i assumed to be the "guard house" and then from the guard house there was a dirt path to what was either the "cult house" or just the duPont mansion.
