just got a bone stock GTO '04 5.7 a4(automatic)

First Dyno.. Stock horsepower, no mods 305 rwhp

installed K&N air filter only ( NO CAI ) 311 RWHP

Tuned car with EFI live and AFR meter final hp 337 RWHP 352 torque

just installed the k&n cai with cold air box on the gto.. took about 45 min... will dyno this week along with piks

ALSO.. not a performance mod but.. installed the Pioneer Avic D3 DVD/NAV (ipod,bluetooth,steeringwheelcontrols)with the help of Nick Fox (assault187).. looks and works great

Good work so far, how many miles were on it/what was the price?

You'll need to do a lot of suspension stuff for 11's..wheel hop is horrific. I also believe axles will be necessary..as will a cam, headers, etc.

In my experience with these cars he'll need a brace, stall, exhaust, tires and a shot to get into the 11's.
There are a few routes but that IMHO would be the easiest.

With an LS1 GTO? Well I guess the auto helps a bit..but I know for M6 cars..and well, the GTO's in general, wheel hop sucks a LOT of power, not to mention the skinny ass tires. Not to mention the axles are weak as ****.

I have the same intake btw lol, so I like your numbers

You would know better then I, I don't personally own one.
A few of my GTO friends progress the shot so they don't break. I don't know what they have under the car.
But from an engine standpoint he doesn't need alot.
