DSM in Norristown, PA area

Whats up I'm Ray. There used to be a lot of car shows etc. in my area but now that is not the case. Anyone from the Norristown, King of Prussia Collegeville, Phoenixville areas? I'm looking to possibly get a show started and am trying to find car buddies. (none of my friends are really into cars). I'm not biased on what you drive honda, nissan, dodge, whatever; as long as your cool.

whats up dude...im from blue bell, basically in east norriton...so you might see me around....your car should be fairly easy to spot since i dont see many older gen DSM's in the area...ill keep my eye out!.

I live in plymouth meeting which is right next to norristown. All of my friends are into cars which range from multiple GSX's to KB cobras, Zo6, Turbo MR2 etc. I drive a red Evo 9 RS. I have probably seen you before just don't remember though.

do you guys have car meets anywhere? if so what day and time?

I don't drive the car much so i'll be hard to spot but i do drive on tues. and thurs. a lot since i have school.

When it gets warmer we meet on Sundays 6pm-whatever in a parking lot in the norriton plaza (I think that's what it's called) on germantown pike. There is a shoprite and there used to be a dunkin donuts there also. On tuesdays a bunch of people used to go to the IMAX theatre in KOP but I think it's starting up again.

I used to go to KOP but yeah, no one goes there anymore (though i saw a few people there on saturday at around 9, the normal day for that show is tuesdays at 8)

i know where the other place is and will try to get up there this sunday.

I'm not sure if people are going up yet on Sunday. The car show was started by a bunch of old dudes with muscle cars so when they start showing up, so does everyone else. If it's still cold then don't even bother.

last sunday i saw about 5 muscle cars at different times that ive seen there before comming from that direction on germantown pike, so they might have started back up but im not sure....

they used to look down on imports but more and more show up every week and now its just turning into one big meet.

Yeah they did. I started going to that meet about 5 years ago and everytime I showed up in my eclipse or evo they grumbled and bitched. They came around eventually though. As long as you don't do burnouts in the parking lot it's all good. Everyone gets on it while leaving and the cops don't care for the most part because they're muscle cars.

I've been good. Car is doing good. I'm presently saving to get my engine and trans rebuilt. I'm also looking for a 50-trim or 20g turbo (as you can see in my sig)
