do honda owners install serious alarms on their cars? i know its not foolproof but it seems like everyone talks about how incredibly easy they are to steal, but i never hear about any prevention

That video was confusing after the first bust. Lol why was everyone moving so fast, that needed that riffy piano music from the silent movie era.

A friend of mine had a very serious alarm on his Integra. It was some awesome alarm that sent a message to his keyfob if anything happened to his car, or something to that effect. All I know is that he was asleep when they took it, so he didn't know that the door was unlocked. They found the car, stripped and drenched in oil in Reading. Stuff like that makes me sick.

there is actually a lot of different things u can do to prevent theft or atleast try and make it harder for them. people relocate hood releases and install kill switches and then u can always have some crazy kill switch combinations...i dont know if people actually do these things but the topic always comes up on h-t and team integra

me personally im really not so paranoid about it...yea i got an alarm and did some basic things but if it happens it happens...i just try to park in places where there alot of people will see my car rather than in some alley or back street

Most have real alarms (ala not factory) usually with a fuel pump kill switch hidden. Doesn't slow determined thieves down.

yeah its beat how many hondas get stolen. i wanted one as a dd but higher chance of theft even for a totally stock car is one of the things that kept me away. i could really go for the gas mileage though...

Isn't that why Honda civics are so much to insure? Because they are the highest stolen car or whatever?

i always figured the best anti theft device would be a racing steering wheel with a quick release hub, im not sure how many car thieves keep extra steering wheels with them. I remember the accessport i used to have for my suby had an anti theft map that you could use.

Kill switches are the best thing you can do. But if the thief is using a tow truck your screwed "it happens!"
