Picking up a GPS tonight , i had a Garmin 360 before it was stolen was nice, looking to spend a little less this time.

Stay away from refurbished units. I bought a Magellen and it failed on the 90th day. I sent it in for repair and it lasted a month. $350 down the drain. Someday I will replace it but until then I am using my laptop with MS streets and trips for $99.00.

Any of these models have a zoom out option? I would love to find one with that.

Just want a zoom out to see nearby highways when I'm navigating on my own

Back on topic. Big lots had a cheap Navigation system that was fairly simple to use but it was a navigation system and nothing more. You could put in an address and find some things in a town but not much and the map wasnt that great either. I had it in a work truck at the time. It was worth what it cost but I wouldnt buy it for my car since I would want more options. Very basic for those looking not to spend too much.

Nuvi 200 will be in your price range. It's a very good GPS, everyone seems to have them now haha.

<- sells 3-4 GPSs every day.

I just got a Voyager by LG and it comes with GPS for $10 a month. Gets me where I need to go.
