A friend of mine is trying to get a dog park in Langhorne at Core Creek Park. This is becoming more and more of a reality. He is trying to get a few more sigs before an article is ran in the Bucks County Courier Times. So, if you have a second please sign his petition

So how many people take their dogs to this park? I have never brought mine, but if a lot of you are there, I may start.

Signed. Buck has no dog parks! I know of at least 2 in Montgo and they are only a few miles away from each other. WTF?

There are no dog parks in Bucks County (as far as I know) yet. The closest ones are Montgomery county and two in Hamilton, NJ.

A dog park is a legal area, (and usually fenced in), for dogs to be able to socialize, exercise, and play. Bucks County has a leash law. So, if your dog was off leash say at Tyler Park, you could get fined.

To add to this. Dogs are pack animals. For general purposes having an owner/family fulfills many of a dogs social/pack needs. However, sometimes they just need to run free and wrestle with other dogs.

Dog parks are well suited for this.
