Hey all...just as the title reads, I was given a 2003 Evo for the weekend, and friday, on my way to a job interview, I had the pleasure of meeting a nice cop on the side of route 100....haha...some kid who looked to be 16 or 17 apparently wanted to race...I didn't race him, however for a change, and the cop assumed that since we were riding side by side and he sped off, that we were racing...we were both pulled over, and since there was no shoulder, it caused quite a back up on 100 towards KOP/Norristown area...so sorry to any of those who may have been late to work that morning haha

I had to call the company I had the interview at to tell them I was running late "due to traffic", and the secretary replied "Oh don't worry about it! Everyones running late due to an accident on 100!!" haha she wsa referring to me and the charger pulled over of course, I got called out by one of the guys at the office who recognized me! haha good first impression...just thought I'd share!

No points on the license, just a warning and $150 fine...the kid apparently got points and a hefty fine...coulda been worse, my luck had to run out sometime...I usually dont get tickets

no honestly, I like my WRX better...the Evo has nice get-up-and-go power without a doubt, but by far, i like the way the WRX handles better...nothing against Evo's, I had a blast with it this weekend and drove it all over the place all the way up to Shippensburg

thats the same thing i thought when i test drove an evo before i bought my sti. thought the sti handled better
and the interior is so much nicer of a set-up.

hopefully I'll have pics of the WRX soon....new up and downpipe, bigger turbo, radio and body kit...should be slightly over 300HP daily driver! hehe

LOL.... Ive been pulled over before in the EVO...

90 in a 55, I guess he spotted me as i was slowing down because i did a 130+ pull, then let off.
But thats a good thing lol, i took it to court just for the hell of it and got it dropped to a 75 in a 55

So let me get this straight... you weren't speeding... he just assumed you were racing? What was the warning for? Thats a typical rt 100 cop. Probably the same guy that told me he'd shoot me if I made any sudden moves when he pulled me over for no reason and searched my car when I still had my 86 Grand Am beater. (No ticket issued either..proving my point)

Id double check to make sure its really a no points violation. I know several people who were told by the cop that it was no points but they ended up getting them.
