I heard on the radio today something about bush releasing some of the reserves, (something to do with the hurricane down south) to keep the price of gas down.

well on abc news last night, i was watching it while eating dinner, they saidthat gas should be rising between now and the next few days almost another 15 cents a gallon because one of the main resvoirs (or however u spell it) is out of commision or sumtin. so glad i filled my tank two days ago cause im gonna hate it next time im already payin 2.85 another 15 cents would bring me to 3.00 a gallon.... ill sell my car if it gets past 3.25

the funny thing this is nothing compared to the uk and contries across the ocean. Never the less this sucks and i wish there was something we could do but there isn't. I wish i didn't have such high insurnace and i could put another car on it like a diesel and pull a poolmike aka pull a blanket over the governments eyes.

Ha ha, good stuff. I think we need higher gas taxes so we'll finally start moving toward alternative fuels.

The whole thing about the hurricane has to do with that a lot of our oil comes from teh gulf where New Orleans is so it kind of sucks that they are getting hit with the hurricane. So yeah expect it to go up a little.

I'm tired of hearing everyone bitch about it; and as has been said already, this is nothing compared to almost anywhere else in the world.

I'm not into cars for gas mileage. If everyone is going to complain about it, then sell your EVOs, STis, or whatever sports car you're driving and buy a Prius.

Gas prices suck, but at least we don't live in CA. It's like $3.50 a gallon for 87 and you can't get 92 and up!

The station I like to use went up 8 cents from this morning, premium is still under $3 though.

Your missing the point. Not only is it hurting us at the gas station but everything else is going to cost more. Inflation is going to go through the roof. Soon $10/hr is going to seem more like $8/hr when you factor in cost of all living expenses.
