Honestly he'll probably be on NJtuners.com...a shop called pride performance just opened a shop over there or well their grand opening is in april. They do skylines specifically and there are a bunch of dudes on that site that have skylines... their website is below

Isn't it crazy expensive to import a skyline to the states?

from what i heard yeah but there are guys that do it for a living and there are ones that are done illegally...let alone they are basically illegal cause they are right hand drive.

They aren't illegal. Motorex submitted a bunch of R33s and R32s for crash testing to the best of my knowledge and all the skylines that motorex imported during the time before their bust are technically legal in the states. R34s technically are illegal since they weren't crash tested, but all skylines imported during that time are legal (which includes the R34s they got through too).
Other companies imported skylines during this time period too and I believe you can still get R32s in the country since they were technically crash tested and the government has their crash reports on file.

I'm not saying they are illegal...just most of the time aquired illegally. From what i understand they are a liability to drive because they are right hand drive. Insurance companies are hestitant to insure especially in jersey. My BF is friends with a few guys with them...and yes some have R34's in them but even without they are hassled and pulled over alot.
