I hate lazy people

So right i got promoted at my job, a lot of you know already. i'm part of management now. so i realized, a lot of people want this and that, want to make good money but are so lazy. they run there machines slow, talk a lot, but i'm cool with talking. as long as you do your work, but no these guys love talking and do nothing more than just talk.

and i'm training 4 people at the same time. feels like i'm babysitting. the one person is cool, she's a hard worker but the other three... young guys, slouch on there seats and work slow. yea, these guys are a royal pain.

now they give me this task and i was just promoted. acting like i've been in this position for years. so the higher up better not give me ****. the supervisor actually likes me and thinks i'm a great worker. hell she even leaves me by myself for hours because she knows i'm busting my ass for 12hr's straight. i even missed a few breaks just to get work out.

they better love me for this or else ima choke a bish!

yea but here's the thing. i'm new to management and they threw 4 new people for me to train. and 3 out of 4 are asshats.

he said i'm doing a great job and likes my motivation. so thats a good thing. phew.

Unlike the other lead managers they've been leads for years and they know what there doing. day 1 for me? bam gotta train 4 people and make the work come out 100% ok and nothing wrong.

its seems impossible but surprisingly? i was able to pull it off but i was sooo tired, my legs where sore. i needed these 4 days off since sunday lol.

well if they're not doing there job and you give them multiple warnings can't they be fired or suspended or something ??
i dont know anything about your job but since your management now cant you can there asses if they keep ****ing up

Try working in Retail...I gotta train these High School kids who Don't give a **** about what there doing, Meanwhile I'm there trying to make a name for myself so I can get promoted and I take my job very seriously.

You gotta try and level with them, or sometimes being a straight douche bag works well to.

yea, it was my first week last week. new to this but i've been getting some real good advice from those already in management and have experience.

So i already gave the warnings... now comes the whip lol. i'm not going to let them walk on me. i'm there boss.

these guys still have that high school vibe going. slouching on the chairs, yo yoing every sentence they have to say. saying curse words in front of there elders. yes, i curse but when i'm talking to an elder i'm as grown as they come. than to the young people i act more of myself.

I've already leveled up to them and they abuse the system. i'm like, you can talk, its cool. just do your work, and when the supervisor comes into the area? i don't care what you guys were talking about, keep your mouths shut.

they were like. We good, I feel you... i'm like, uggh, alright.

getting your understudies in trouble or writing them up wont help them work faster. im sure you remember how it was, when your supervisor would lean into you.

go back down to their level and help them out.

thats some good advice.

so i should act serious but at the same time try to help them grow up.

now that you mention that. when i first started, i was no different then them. i grew up, and now look at me. i'm actually in charge, alright that sounds reall good pearl.

Get them floaties on and keep on rockin'. This is how you learn in most companies. No one can hold your hand and teach you to manage others. They obviously thought you had the stones to do it, so do it

I don't hate lazy people, I just hate working with lazy people. I give credit for them being relaxed and laid back....outside of where they should be pulling their weight.

But hey, it's part of life. You just have to act like Dr. Cox!!!

outside of work is a different story. but at the job and i'm responsible for moving work, i hate those kind of people.
