yeah i was actually going to submit a photo but i didnt have time this past month to get out and really take any shots...but i was thinking about it and was pretty much only thinking about churches. they are very interesting in the architecture of them

ever since the beginning of civilization, churches & religious buildings have been the centers of everyone's world. if you look back at ancient rome (the pantheon), ancient greece (the acropolis complex), and even back before then (tumulus tombs), you will see that much thought, money, time, labor, etc has been spent on building ceremonial spaces for the gods & the afterlife.

sorry for the rant...i think its slightly off topic

i have a fav and a second fav, and i was torn between them, but i just decided and put my vote in. nice photos everyone... i'm realllly going to try to participate in February's contest with water as the theme.

Nope, I traveled all the way to South Dakota for my picture. LOL. I was out there for work and it looked like a really picturesque kinda place.
