I dont know how the rest feel but I am kinda disgusted about NHRA merging with NOPI. I have never been a fan of NOPI for racing and showing. I hate that they have Muscle cars racing with Imports/Tuners, it defeats the purpose of having a Tuner race. Also at the car show if you dont show for 2 days you get stuck in 1 class competing against everyone who only showed up for 1 day, that just sucks. F NOPI!

Most places do not want to hold events at Maple grove because they do not really cater towards the imports. The staff was very rude to the import racers and at the IDRC and NOPI events that were held there.

Also every NOPI race/show that was held at Maple Grove it would rain one day and the track would flood. Not a good position for NOPI to be in, and the turnouts were also really low at the Maple Grove events.

Plus I heard Maple Grove charges a ton of money. I think it just doesn't make sence for the organizations to race at the grove. Maybe things will change now that I hear they are under new MGT.

Also E-town and ATCO always have great turn outs at the events.

As far as the comment about NOPI everyone has their thoughts, likes and dislikes. NOPI has never done me wrong as a racer or back in the day when I use to show cars. And atleast NOPI is giving us (import racers) a place to race.

Why not leave the car in FL and run BOTI in Orlando April 15 & 16

What class you running?

I will be at all the BOTI races for the season, I'am the crew chief for the Bergenholtz Racing Mazda 6 PRO FWD car. We only ran NHRA now and we won't run NOPI and frank at battle has done a great job putting together a full package this year.

Rules are out as of yesterday.

As far as leaving the trailer in FL I can not take the much time off of work to drive it down there and then back up to PA. If I had someone driving it for me and I could take a plane in I would but that is not the case as of now.

Hopefully going to start working on the car this weekend. I just got my truck back last weekend and finished the golf cart. So now I can pull the trailer back to my house and get the car out. I got almost all my new electronics from AEM and some new goodies from BDL.

Check it out on my myspace page I have a ton of pics up there. I still want to get the carbon fiber dash for it, and then do some power upgrades it is no where near as fast as the 4 wheeler I used last year.
