Anyone interested in going to the NPPA Flying Short Course? March 13-15th, Rochester
I've heard GREAT things about it... http://www.northernshortcourse.com/ Its $200 for NPPA members and $275 for non-members for all 3 days, or you can just pay by the day. I'd ideally like to go all three days and wanted to see if anyone else was interested in going. We can share driving and maybe a hotel or whatever else. "The Northern Short Course in Photojournalism is the premier photojournalism conference in the country. We will be offering more than two dozen workshops in lighting, business practices, Photoshop, management, page design, marketing, web design and ethics along with a full multimedia track with workshops in audio, Soundslides, intro/advanced video and a multimedia shootout. Our Saturday lecture series will include Al Bello of Getty Images, Olivier Jobard, Jacki Lyden, Kristen Ashburn and Chris Usher. yeah thats what i would take. i'm more interested in this flying short course though, i think there will be so much more useful content there and this is the best of the best...
