most of the Afghanistan pics were taken with a Sony DSC-R1. then i switched over to my current camera, a Sony DSLR A-100. love Sony cameras.

What were the ISO's on some of these?

They are KILLER light quality...and little to no noise at all...

most of the night shots from Afghanistan, the ISO is 160. the DSC-R1 is an amazing camera at night, very good with light. the picture above of the CH-47 Chinook was shot at ISO 160 and only exposed for 2 seconds. you can just right click on one of the pics and go to properties and check the stats of any photo if it helps.

i miss my R1, it was much easier to take nice pics than SLR cameras, but who doesn't like a challenge right?
