Any smart PC people here? Need some game controller help.

i want to change the order of the buttons on one of my usb controllers (remapping the buttons) but i cant do it through Control Panel\Game Controllers, so im thinking theres gotto be another way, maybe through regedit or if theres a program that could do this, Reason why i wont just change it in the game(s) is because the other controller will be affected also. If anyone can help please do.

Thanks,
-emp.

Did you get software with the controller? If so, you can change it through the software.

No you can't edit the registry to make the button changes. Even if you could, you would have to search for that specific controller, brand, model, etc, then find out exactly where in the registry the information is stored, but even still, I highly doubt it would store the actual button configuration.

There is a program called Joy2Key, just look it up it should do exactly what you want to do.

There's a few "MaxFire" pads.

Which is yours?
