Okay so i had just bought my 240 two weeks ago, i got pulled over for no front license plate mean while when i got the car,we had just put someones 240 license plate on it to just get it home. it was a last minute thing to but the car. so the cop asks me for the registion insurance my license .. i gave him my insurance and the title to the car and i have explained to the officer that the sistution... he then figures out that i dont have the right plates for the car.. i got a ticket for fictitous plates 39:3-33 unregistered vehicle 39:3-4 and no insurance 39:6 ? -2 and car got in pounded , but the car was registered and insurance was still on the car, i just didnt have the documents in the car. and i was given a court appearance reguired on jan 11 2008 is there anything i can do. bc the kid i bought the car from , i had called him after i got the tickets...and told him what happened and he said that he was more then happy to come to court with me so maybe the judge will lessen or drop any of the tickets maybe bc he still has the documents for that car to prove that it was still insured and registered.

- then i was drivin in point plesant the other day .... got pulled over after pulling out at a green light for a loud exhaust ... and i asked the cop politely if he had a decimeter to prove that my exhaust was over the limit... and he laughed and gave me my ticket and walked away ......

i have a clean license so maybe that will help

once the car in titled in you name the registration is voided so your beat on those tickets.

for thr loud exhaust summons I guess you havn't been reading this forum but in NJ the police do not need a decimeter to prove your muffler is loud.
