How are you dealing with high gas prices??

I was just curious as to how others are dealing with high gas prices. This is rediculous, seeing i need to put in 93, 94 if i can find it. My way of dealing with the high gas prices is going to be buying a street bike. I found a really good deal i cant pass up. I found a 1993 GSXF 600 , with some goodies done to it. Im getting it for 900$ cash. All it needs is front fork seals and new tires. Pretty good deal. Anyway, i should have to gas up less with it, and get more mpg then my damn dsm. So how do you deal with 93 being 3.01$ a gallon? Is there any other riders out there? Street bike or moped... lol, i want a vespa, haha!

$3.01 for 93??? The last time I filled up my tank, which was the middle of this week, I paid like $2.84 for 94 at Sunoco.

Combining trips, bumming rides from friends a lot, and bought a car with a V6 instead of an I4. Wait, that's bad, hahaha *rolls eyes*

Mark why are you running 94' in a car you can use 89' in no problem. Even with the computer upgrade I'm sure you don't need 94'. But anyway I try not to smoke to many hondas, spec Vs and stay out of the gas. I think when it gets to $3/gallon I'm going to start to walk to work.

Heh, you're joking, right?

The car stock doesn't run on anything lower than premium..

My first step in the fuel $$$$ battle is to stop using it. I am looking feverishly for a early 80's VW rabbit diesel or 'Benz wagon diesel and run it on waste veggie oil. The Jeep is getting converted to turbo diesel/veggie oil. The Mini already gets 50 mpg on 89 octane. **** OPEC!

I deal with it in 3 easy steps

1. Pull up to the pump, slide credit card in, and start filling....yelling F*CK THIS! the whole time
2. Wait until the tank is full at which time the price gauge reads something like $30-$35. Do some more yelling.
3. Drive home hitting full boost as much as possible to relieve anger only to realize that i just wasted a quarter tank of gas or $10, however you want to look at it!!!!!!!!!
