So yeah i go out with this girl that lives in West READING and she told about this place called the Pagoda...i went there and scouted out the place with my boy and then we hit it up....all thought the the touge was short it was still fun.....it was nice to drift somewhere different other then Philly and the IKEA...that whole experience makes me want to travel to all the cities around Philly like Allentown, Bethlehem, Dover, York, Reading etc.

I live here in the Reading area and wouldn't suggest you drift up near the Pagoda. For one theres always cops in the area waiting for people like you and scouting for drug dealers & prostitutes as well. 2nd theres usually a fair amount of other cars on the roads and third it's just plain stupid cause some of those roads are horrible I wouldn't want to be going sideways on them even if it was for an event. They used to hold a hill climb up there and people were always having bad experiences on those roads with broken suspensions, blown tires, hitting a dip and going off the side of the road half way down the mountain. Just my 2cents tho.

yeah i saw some cops there but thats why i said we Scouted the area first and then took on the down hill course with no problem at all. Either way i enjoyed it and i am not going to lie about what i do because everyone know what i do. which is why the IKEA meet in Philly got so big. Oh and please i checked out 5th street and lets say what i was doing wasn't as dangerous as what i saw at the local street race over in reading.

I've gone up and down duryea drive a ton of times but I've never seen cops up there. Its a damn fun road but the only problem is that if you don't really know it, there are so many road inconsistencies that make it a really dangerous road. I wouldn't suggest going all out on that hill unless you've gone up and down a few times to spot the problems on the road. Oh, and if it rains, don't go up there, you'd be an idiot to do so. Wet leaves on that road = suicide.

recipe for disaster...i have family that goes up to the pagoda often to enjoy the views and scenery, so hearing that you are possible putting ppl, let alone my family, in harms way is very disappointing, you want to drift off the track stay in philly or in your parking lots. dont be a selfish inconsiderate person on public roads.

Pogoda is a hidden treasure to a lot of people who are from the city, not many people know about it n was hopeing people dont ruin it. (talking to people in general)
