Accelerating question..

for example if am going 60 and i press the gas to go higher, the car feels like its going but the car actually its not going any faster.it sounds like it is but its not moving. know what i mean? i cant really explain it. but i was told it was the clutch going bad.

if you press the gas and the car isnt going anywhere but the RPMs are rising, then yes the clutch is slipping
