Propane injection + reflash on these babies would be monstrous. I could see 450+ torque stock turbo. There is a video around of it and you can see the size of the stocker which is pretty damn good. Subaru is finally upping the turbo size (which is almost necessary with diesel). I want to hear this thing rumble with UEL headers too.

speak for yourselves haha... i do not want a deisel unless its in an economy car... for a sports car... gasoline is ftw.

Thats why you make the Tribeca and Forester diesels.
And maybe give the Impreza wagons a factory option.

maybe subaru could have a mini diesel truck like a brat or baja id buy it.

the rumors from a few subie reps are 09 or 10 for the TDI boxers to hit the us market. Just rumors though. Every time one of the mid-Atlantic reps is in the showroom I ask about it. LOL I get the we can't confirm or deny comment and then a big smile. It'll happen. The transmitions will need a major redesign if the Forester XTDI hits the #'s that have been hinted at. As far as not wanting a diesel sports car/truck,.. look at the audi tdi le mans cars records and the #'s that the power stroke. Duramax. And Cummins guys have done recently.

If this happens in the next few years this will be my next purchase. 36k miles later, homemade biodiesel.
