Cingular Reps...

Okay, I have tried every service under the sun BUT Cingular/AT&T. I think it's time that I complete my cell phone circle and see if Cingular's service/rate plans suit me well. I won't lie, I definately want to be "hooked up" and I am very interested in the Motorola RAZR (the black one). If you guys are online IM me or PM me if you can't figure out my AIM name. I currently have Nextel and it's sucking my left teet hardcore. I did every single upgrade/hack available and unfortunately it doesn't help with reception. Just to warn you, I am the text message queen so getting data (i.e. text messages) instantly is a big plus to me. With every other company besides Nextel I never had a problem with this.

i have cingular and have had it since waaaaay back when it was comcast metrophone.. circa 1999.

have never had any major problems with service, rate plans are decent, theres a crapload of in-network people since they joined at&t, and as for the text messages ive never had any problem with them at all. oh and of course rollover can be nice

i have the LG F9100 because when it was time for a new phone i didnt want any type of flip phone,.. this was the only "candybar" phone they had available that didnt look cheap. its the one that flips out a keyboard.. its pretty nice for sending txt's.. not that i even do that all that much.

i have cingular and the only main reason IS their rates. its cheap and they are getting bigger so they are expanding areas. signals arent too bad too

actually t-mobile has the best rates, on a plan thats 40 bucks a month you would get 600, whereas with cingular you only get 450, but yes they do rollover. I have had every single company except sprint, i currently have a t-mobile sidekick and a black razr with cingular. I got hooked up with the razr hardcore and I am loving it, its a great phone, especially cuz i can use isync on my mac and sync all my contacts/calendar events. The service is pretty good, not as good as verizons tho, customer service is just ok. Cingular is OK basically, Im with them more for the phone. I also have an smt 5600 which is a great phone too. Hope that helps some

Dang why do you have so many different phones/services? I have had Tmobile and I didn't really agree with their customer service (long story). I agree Verizon is top notch but their plans are so dang expensive. Are you saying that Cingular is only "OK" because of the coverage area? Or a combination of coverage area+rate plan price? I am paying about $90/month now with Nextel for 300 incoming/free outgoing and 500 txt msgs (to which I overly use).

P.S. You wouldn't happen to know any progs off the bat to where I could connect the RAZR to my PC and upload mp3's to the phone?

You can either use Blutooth if your computer has it or Get a data cable and Motorola's software to get your MP3's onto your phone.

So you wouldn't happen to know if I could keep the current Motorola software that I currently have on my PC do you? It's that iDen software that is free from the website. Anyways, so where are all the Cingular reps that I heard about in the other thread? I am looking to switch either today or tomorrow for sure. I am willing to drive to you guys if you can get me a deal.

If you want you can PM which location you are at and what time you are working until. I also would like to see what kind of deal I can get on the RAZR. Thanks

P.S. I am also on AIM if you are allowed to use that @ work.

Short range wireless. Good for transfering data without a cable or wireless headsets.

Bluetooth Rocks! It basically is a wireless protocol that allows you to sync up to computers, headsets, pda's, phones, car's etc. that have bluetooth up to 30 feet away completley wireless. Its awesome. SexyDSM95 i will PM you in a few minutes. I cant use AIM here.
