He's not starting, because it is a popularity vote... westbrooks numbers are phenominal, and he is so versitle, that he should start.. but Adrian Peterson probably got the job, right?

Oh, well, that's because there are better RUNNING backs . The Eagles lack the position of receivers, so Westbrook fills in on this spot. However, the NFL/NFC has Peterson, who really is millenniums better of a RUNNING BACK, not an all purpose back.

Yes, b/c he has better rushing numbers. But not better overall..which means the best overall player is not the starter.

It's the pro bowl.

You don't pick players who fill the void of other positions, you pick the best player for the given position. That's how all-star teams work.

Well, then he should be the MVP or something, because there needs to be a category to describe what he does.

I agree with you 100% on that, he's an amazing athlete. But look at his competition! (cough, Brady, cough)

Ryan Grant from the Packers should get the job. He's the no.1 running back right now in the NFC. Well as of Sunday he was.

Peterson splits his time with another great running back, and still churns out the numbers that he does. Grant gets a big play here or there, and isn't nearly as consistent as Peterson. What stats are you talking about? I'm not positive, but I thought that Peterson was still FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR ahead of Grant in total rushing yards???

As per the Packers game on Sunday they announced Grant was the leading running back for the last 7-8 weeks. Just stirring the pot. I could give 2 sh*ts about the pro bowl...I'm just happy my boys are finally having a good season.

blocking and not fumbling are also traits of a good rb..both which westbrook is phenominal at.

Peterson is still the better running back, Westbrook is a more versatile offensive weapon.

Right, Westbrook has always been a key blocker.. and I think he has had only 1 fumble lost (Seattle game?) in the last 500+ touches.

Look at the stats for the last 6 weeks and tell me Grant isn't consistent.

I never said that he wasn't consistent, I said that he isn't nearly as consistent as Peterson is. "Look at the stats for the last 6 weeks", why not look at the entire season to illustrate what I'm saying?

It doesn't matter about other RB's.. hopefully the Eagles will build around Westbrook's talents.. and make a superbowl caliber team next season.

What do you expect, it's someone from the Eagles. ANYONE from the Eagles will never get their just due unitl they get that ring...until then, they'll just be good players. I think B.W. should start but you know how that goes...
