it should be fairly easy, there's only a few things you'll have to disconnect. R&I of trunks and body panels is pretty much the same no matter what make/model you're working on.

you'll probably have some sort of wiring harness, to diconnect. follow the harness down into the trunk to see if there's a plug you can undo. if there's nothing, you'll just have to unplug each thing that has a wire going to it. after that, just take off each bolt that holds the trunk to the hinges. get a friend to help with it because it's very easy to chip paint on your quarter panels and anything within range. lol.

with the trunk open, hold one hand underneath a bottom corner, then duck your head and shoulder underneath the trunk to support it. use your other hand to unbolt your side. make sure your buddy does the same and WATCH the corners. this all seems simple, and it really is, but i describe it because there's a specific way to do it that covers all bases and again.. it's really easy to drop the thing onto the quarter panel once the bolts come off.

for the lock, it's also easy, but it takes a bit of patience. the design will be specific to Subaru so i can't tell you exactly what it'll look like but there are some standards. there's going to be something that connects the lock cylinder itself to the mechanism that actually unlocks the trunk (probably a rod with a little plastic connector), and there will be something that holds the lock in place in the deck lid. take a flashlight and poke around a bit and it should be easy to see what needs to come off.

for installation just do it all in reverse!

hole this helps, good luck
