They really love to leave important details out such as when removing the starter on a Ford Escort ZX2, it needs to be removed from under the car not through the top of the engine compartment as directed by Hayne's. Oh and also, on their 95 Eclipse fuel pump install write up it says "remove fuels lines"....they however fail to mention that the metal fuel line cannot be removed at the fuel pump until you remove it from underneath the car! I mean damn, these manuals are supposed to be for do-it-selfers not professionals. I'm glad on the DSM there's a lot of install and tech help online but when it comes to the ZX2 I'm just plain screwed because there almost nothing on the internet to really help ya there! Suck it Hayne's!

factory repair manuals ftw! Haynes doesn't even MAKE a manual for s13's.

ive had no problems with them...maybe thats cause i do fairly elementary stuff though

Honda Haynes is pretty good. Mostly because it's hard to do something the wrong way on a Honda, lol.
