I originally thought it was an evo motor but the valve cover doesn't look like that.

But given that the guy who uploaded that video has MX3 in his name, I would guess that its an MX3 motor

its a ford engine. the same 2.0/2.3 they share with mazda. that lil gear in the oil pan is the oil pump. they dont have a keyway for the crank. the aluminum valve cover hints its an older version of the 2.0l bc the newest ones have plastic valve covers. it also doesnt have VVT so that also shows its an older version.they use the aluminum valve cover for the DISI turbo engines but they have VVT and that engine doesnt show the actuator on the intake's cam gear. and that intake manifold is very unique to ford/mazda.
