Does anyone know how to code?

Just like the title says....is there anyone good with coding?

I have a code that I need someone who knows more about coding to look over for me.

It does what I want for the most part, except for one small issue that I'm having trouble with and can't seem to fix it.

I'll PM you the code if you can help. Thanks!

Yea man, Drexel grad. He's smart as sh*t and they only grab a couple grads every year. They house him, give him a ride, feed him, everything. It's like a little google city in california.

It's php and java script. I'm a geek but I don't program or code too much haha. I know enough to get me by, but apparently that's not enough lol.

When I went to Drexel they were very serious about the COOP programs and that really gives you an edge after you graduate.

I still haven't seen what language you are talking about, but I know several, so if you want to PM me I can certainly take a look at it for you and see if I can help.

the regular expressions are whats throwing me off with the javascript. And I don't have an environment to test it in... I'm also at work so I can't really help to much right now

but I did find this: if(regs != 0){
document.theForm.Location.value += '##'+regs+'##';
}}

which looks like whats giving you the issue. Found that just by giving it a quick glance through. not sure what regs is to be honest though, too busy to look for the variable.

Perhaps that has something to do with the registration process?

Captain, PM me your email address, the code is too long to PM.

that ain't backend stuff... thats some javascript ;)

It'd be quicker for me to figure out if it wasn't in regular expressions.

Work just had a 2 hour training session on object oriented Javascript...

This is what my friend had to say, hopefully it is useful.

I haven't done a lot of stuff with javascript, but maybe you just overlooked something

>var locinp = document.ibform.location;

this chooses location section right?

>var locval = locinp.value;

get the value

>var regs = 0;
>if(locval.match(/##(\d+)##/i)){
>regs = parseInt(RegExp.$1);
>locinp.value = locinp.value.replace(/##(\d+)##/i,'');

you replace the value, seems to be what you described above, you probably just have to change locinp = document.ibform.*, make * whatever you wanted.

Is that what you were looking for?

I dunno. lol. I can only understand so much coding. It's not what I do on a daily basis. What I know, I taught myself, so I only understand a limited amount. I'll have to look more careful at what you posted and see if it makes sense in the code itself.
