Got is ticket in the city, in my dead grandfathers caddy

I knew that title would garner some attention

Ok:

Went to olde city for halloween, parked in the last spot I could find. Didn't know it at the time but it was an end spot, beyond the "regular" spots, although there was a meter right by it. In fact I got out to look at the meter and put money in it!!!

Well night goes by, and I get to the car and see the ticket. I discuss it with my coworker the following day. Basically he told me to forget the ticket. It will only become an issue if I park in the city and get caught. Well #1, I never drive that car, let alone in the city. My car was out of service that night, and the caddy was the only means of transportation.

#2, if they come for my grandfather, god bless his soul, he wont exactally be around to pay the fine.

#3, The car is in the process of being sold.

So what will become of this? Will he get a summons or a higher fine in the mail eventually? Can I laminate it and mount above my headboard to laugh at from time to time???

In truth there is probably no way that ticket can ever be traced back to you. but it can be paid by your grandfathers estate.
