I was at work on the graveyard shift last night and I the idea just popped into my head: why don't we organize a fun little scavanger hunt for everyone to participate in. we can make a list of things that must be found, split people up into x-amount of teams, give a decent time limit, and have a place where everyone meets up afterwards to tally up each team's score. Possibly award prizes for 1st through 3rd place. there could be a reasonable cover charge for participation (that could go towards prizes such as a PSP?, gift certificates to misc. businesses, TST merchandise bundles, etc.) at least one person per vehicle should have a digital camera to show proof of finding an item on the list.....i dunno. I mean, I feel it's a great idea, there's obvious room for improvements and expansions to it.

it was just a thought to plant a seed in all of your heads. feedback is of course welcomed. who knows, maybe one day it'll happen...

thats funny cause i casually brought this up recently with a few people but even i didnt take myself seriously so it obviously didnt go anywhere. i think its a good idea... are you interested in putting it together?

Senior year we had one of those in high school and it was great fun. What we ddi was we met up in a central location and we set a boundry of 30 miles so no one was going to far, seeing that this is a "car club" i would say 50 lol. Anyway yeah it was weird stuff we did boys vs girls obviously we don't have enough for that but we could split it up by car types obviously the subbies would need to be split up lol. The girls in our made it smart the guys just did stuff we thought the girls would be too embarassed to do. The two team idea is good cause leaders form each team make the list ofr the other team then the night or day of it you split up into your teams get your list and then well go have fun.

We did the SAME exact thing, only it was this year. I went into it thinking it would be really lame but it ended up being a whole, whole lot of fun.

Yeah well i think alcohol/other drugs added to some people fun on mine but no one drank and drove so it was cool.

yeah, I think I'd be interested in putting it together. it's just a matter of giving thought as to what should be on the list, deciding on teams, making up rules. maybe S4toSTI would like to put some input into it cuz he's done one of these before. unfortunately, I've never been a part of something that fun

another thing is promoting it at the car meets and stuff. I rarely go to any because I'm always working and sh!t. if some of you would like to help me with good ideas and TROLL could take care of all the signup process, I'd definitely like to make this happen and be an exciting (and safe!) event for all of us.

I'm open to all kinds of suggestions to get the wheel rolling. hit me up through pm on here or on AIM

I say hide different car parts, like turbos and BOV and exhaust, and you have to figure out which brand/model it is.

BTW, I would entirely fail at this, unless it said APS on the side....then again, apparently one with APS on it looks like a stock turbo (hides from Fred).

I think 2 teams of 20 is too big. The best example of an event like this is "Viva la Bam" when they split it up into like 5 teams: 1 car per team, 3 or 4 people per car.

My friends one time did a thing sort of like this that I wanted to do but they did stupid stuff that like got them points. They made lists and if you did this certain thing you would get an X amount of points for it. Some of the things were like piss over a wall, one guy gets kicked in the nuts and all this weird stuff. It was hilarious, and you had to videotape it so that there was evidence of it. Actually I might be able to get a hold of a CD they put it on. I'll see if I can get it up somehow.
