problems with a gsx

so when u downshift it feels like i am missfireing, also i am gettin like computer glitches, srs light came on and i lost power stearing. could this be becasue of my belt slipping a liltle bit? what could it be, sparkplugs? injectors?

if you guys could help me i would appriciate it thanks. what would u recomend if it is the sparkplugs or the injectors. if i have to get new injectors i would get ones that would be good with the evo 16g and a 255 fuel pump.

I would start with a tune up, spark plugs, fuel filter etc. Then if it still runs ****ty, you can narrow it down.

Belt slipping wouldn't cause ecu problems. Check your power steering belt and fluids if your power steering is cutting out.

Check to see if your crank pulley is seperating. Check the alternator output voltage.

exactly what paledsm says....check around your alternator for belt debris(fine black rubber). check your alternator adjustment and make sure the belts are normal. Does your belts chirp or make noise when you start your car? Also check all the pulleys by that motor mount. It sounds like you could have a failing crank pulley and or alternator. If the belt is slipping it isn't charging you battery and that is why your srs light is coming on and it is missfiring because your ecu has no juice to make the car run right. If it is ur pulley and belt problem you water pump belt is probably gonna go at some point when you other belt gets shredded. If that happens watch your temp and shut your car off asap as it will go through the roof. This is a pain in the ass problem and it normally involves a new pulley and an alternator and battery depending on how bad the problem is. Let me know what you find...

The alternator adjustments suck ass on the eclipse and make sure you keep the alternator taught and tighten well

What kind of NGK's did you get?

I suggest 6's for light modding, 7's for mild, 8's for hardcore modding.
