Sidekick LX....ehhh

Well i went to the store to check it out before i baught it.
Much lighter but first impression... not so good. I didnt like the appearance, Granted the screen was much bigger. The body(casing) looked kinda cheesy. Shiny plastic with smaller buttons that stuck out really weird.
I didnt turn the phone on and play with it because i heard and read there was no major difference, performance wise.
In my opinion... not worth the extra dough...

1. There's a thread on this already.

2. How can you come to a conclusion by what people said? You went all the way to the store and didn't turn it on? That'd be like going to look at a 300zx tt and saying owell it looks pretty similar to my na 300zx except for a few things. But I heard the engines pretty much the same so I won't test drive it. What a waste of time. There's more to it than a bigger screen. The number one is high def lcd screen. I won't delve into the rest since there's another thread on this.

i was reading the critics and electronic mags reviews on the phone, all said the same thing, amazing color and screen, but not major performance advancment. You can back it up all you want.. just preference, and not for me. my 2 cents

i looked at my sidekick 2 and the keyboard is definetly better, its tougher, and i like the sound when it closes, doesnt feel cheap, it seems like the internals are getting better, but the outside is gettin more flimsy and easy to break.

I just picked one up.

I love it.

Minus can't do custom MP3's.

Can you do custom wallpapers and "lock-screens"?
