about to take the biggest step in my LIFE!!

no i already got married and that was BIG!! but the wife is ready and i am ready to really get started in our lives, and start a family. i am going to be 30 in dec (dam i am getting old!!!) and she told me there is no way i am going to start having kids if we don't own our own home! So we started house hunting about a month ago. and we went today to see a house AGAIN. this was like the third time we have gone to see this house. we are going back again on saturday with our parents to look at the house. let see what they think and so on. well let me stop with the suspense. here are some pics
front of the house

back of the house

back yard

shed

kitchen

living room

dinning room but they are using it as a den

half of the master bed room those two doors that are closed are the two yes two walk in closet!

one of the other rooms

here are some of the details!
cost 229,000 (asking price we are going to offer a lot less and see what happens)
built in 1994
sq ft 2366
bedroom 4
bathrooms 2.5
total acres .50
Gar = Y # of cars 2
taxes 4489 (i know its killer! but that is what we have to deal with here in PA thats why we all live in pa but work in NJ much better pay )

well thats about it for the house, i know i am nervous but i am not showing it to the wife i am letter her freak out and i am standing strong! so pray for me think of me all week :D and we shall see what happens! let me know what you think of the house so far!

thats def a good deal on taxes, our house is 4600 and im in nj.

house is excellent shape, id pick that up.

also it may not need carpet, youd be amazed what some paint and decorating can do. those people seem to like guady crap all over the place.

as for the price its about the norm. the location is in east stroudsburg pa. i think for the money its a lot of house. but the funny thing is no old people. its two guys who say "yea we are brothers" so i think they are just gay. but that is there choice. it does smell like that funky dog they have. but nothing some cleaning can't do. and it does need paint! but besides that its good. just to let you know the houses in the area that are for sale are going for 299 plus. there is a house there going for 579,900!!! does that tell you something about the area!!...lol

yeah shoot low on the price then cash in on it when the property value goes up along with your home.

if i bought that house id gut the hell out of it! them doors especially.

besides the inside the only thing that would hold me back is the backyard, probaly gets muddy as hell when it rains due to that slope, the roof and shingles looks new, but whats with that tiny patch of brick and all the rest is siding?

for 200k u could always get a 500 square foot studio in center city
