there were 4 pages i had to look through... i mean uhhh i have work in the morning... you have to ask yourself questions and think about it. meditation really helps you for this, clear your mind and let thoughts go through your head, its hard to explain to someone what their dreams mean especially since i dont know you well enough. it could just be something thats on your mind, like more of a worried sense. just how u care about the people in your dreams, you just have them on your mind more than you think and it shows in dreams. just think about it to yourself and you will find the real meaning before someone else can tell you what it means....

i know this thread will be filled with opinions by tomorrow so remember this.... after hearing something from someone else, your mind starts to believe what it chooses to believe, if you want the right answer, think to yourself about what it really means

Chaz I'm all over this one.

I'll explain it later.

The person you care about though...were they just standing there?

Was the dream re-occurring? Gimme the details!

yea i remember when I was on the search for reasoning behind my dreams. Never really came up with much. For a while now it seems every night I die. I could be in a plane, in a car just walking down the street. Any situation I somehow die. Then on occasion I've had a dream where someone I cared about was in danger and someone I never seen before shot me like 5 times and left but I somehow was able to get back up and kept going with bullet holes through me, i kinda laughed at it like no way possible that happens but iono. Anyway I agree though you're mind will choose what you believe.

I just wrote out this big long thing...then hit the back button somehow and lost it all.

But what I was going to say is that there is obviously an underlying issue that you need to figure out for youself and address it. I agree with jralli...I think anything that we (or a book) tell you will just cloud what you think it really means.

I used to have the same just about every night for years about the same person. In the dream, I was being held back from doing what I wanted to do (figuratively). I realized that it was because I couldnt let go of what that person did to me. I eventually stopped thinking about it(them) and the dreams stop.

Hey I've been having dreams too I'm always being chased by something and I run but can't run fast like I'm running in slow mo and everything else is movng at normal speed. Then I start to fly but really fast but I'm scared of heights and I can't control it. Then I wake up, what does that mean???

There are way way way too many variables to account for when talking about dreams. You can't just say "I am dreaming this, tell me what it means." There are some general concepts you can generalize in dreams (dying, falling, etc) but you also got to realize that you can dream about something that is physically happening to your body.

You might have a dream where you can't move, but what might actually have happened is if your bed is against the wall, you rolled up against the wall and your body can't roll over any further. Same thing happens with falling. If your arm or a leg slides off the edge of the bed you can dream about falling. Being wet also works the same way.

At the same time neither of this could happen and falling could be a visual reproduction of your downfall in life because of a certain event or catastrophe.

Running slow could be any number of things... Are you currently stuck at a job? Stuck at a position somewhere? Do you know where your future is going? Have you made a choice that you maybe subconciously regretted that is holding you back in progressing in life? Did you decide to not make that choice because you are scared of what it might have meant for your life situation? These questions do account for running slow (something holding you back, regret, monotony in life, lack of progress) and the really fast flight (a choice you decided to make or not make is being illustrated as something that would send you forward in life but you would have no control).

Of course just because this stuff accounts for what you dreamt doesn't mean any part of it will make sense to you. There's a reason why dream interpretation is hard and takes a long time.

that's actually called sleep paralysis. i made a thread on it a while back.

did it ever seem like someone was in your room, or breaking into your house during these events?
