I've not been able to reach peak boost in just about a year. At first i thought it was the SS headers, leaking, but couldn't find anything there upon further inspection, then when i was doing my tranny fluid change and removed my TMIC, i noticed that the Y pipe/hose had a bunch of slits in the silicone. Thus the light bulb went off. My boost leak was happening there. But with knowing i wanted a FMIC I wasn't about to spend $100+ on a new Y hose only to remove it for the FMIC. But alas this past weekend I got around to installing the FMIC. (With a little help from troll, showing me the reasoning of owning 6point sockets and not 12 point ones) None the less it's on and my car pulls very strongly and just feels a great bit better. It overall idle's better, and hardly ever back fires on me anymore. All in all I'm very pleased. so yea just wanted to share my new found love for my car (again).
