Big accident on Rt. 1 near Pepboys?

Wow, did anyone see that mess last night? The intersection for Oxford Valley Rd and Business Rt. 1 near pepboys, if you go towards the WAWA on Bristol Oxford Valley Rd there was a car totally flipped over, a couple firetrucks and a crapload of authorities! I hope there were no deaths involved, it looked like a terrible crash Silver car, flipped over perpendicular to the way traffic was moving....how did that happen?

I was driving to LA Fitness and saw this whole scene, pretty terrible! Anyone know if it was someone from around here?

i heard one car was turning and one was going straight, minivan and a smaller car. not sure but i assumed a sort of t-bone kind of thing where the one car rolled as a result. i drove by it and then less than a mile down the road in front of staples there was another accident... probably due to the traffic jam from the first and people not paying attention. it was all a mess...

sheesh. you may be right, for I pictured one car turning left towards WAWA and someone else from the opposite direction hitting them on the side...since there aren't any streetlights there they actually brought in big penndot-like lights to light up the road...insane

Me and my bro got stuck in the traffic leaving best buy...pretty crappy scene. Horrible intersection there...my aunt and grandma got hit by a drunk driver over there a few years ago.

i am really getting tired of this area and traffic. First off it is the most pedestrian unfriendly area. People have no choice but to walk in the street. Not to mention that traffic is horrible everywhere you go. All the tax dollars and they can't do anything with intersections like that one. It is so dumb when u are waiting at that famous stop sign waiting to go through so you can go to pepboys or bestbuy. you have to wait til the cars stop to "dart" across only to stop 10 ft after the sign to merge with other traffic )who are usually in the middle of the lane trying to move to the turning lane.) I am sure most of you know what stop sign i am talking about. Its pretty much the only stop sign where instead of waiting 3 seconds, you wait 10 min

yup, that stop-sign shouldn't be there and opposing traffic should have to yield to on-coming traffic from Bristol Oxford Valley Rd.....

but then if they did that, traffic from route 1 would be backed up from all the people waiting for the turn

I beleive they are redoing that intersection with the famous stop sign. From what I hear that is why the arbys and the old shopping center were torn down to make a much more free flowing intersection. If it ill happen, who knows.

What is with people running after accidents. This is like the 4th accident I have heard of this year alone. My friend had a drunk driver destroy his car while it was parked, they ran and got away. The same kid had his car side swiped in a parking lot just after getting it back and again the person ran. My brother got hit from behind by a lawn care truck driven by a guy who didn't even speak English and the guy ran, luckily my bro got the license plate number and a cop tracked it down. Now this lady.

FUKKING SCUM!

They are trying to redo that intersection...as far as I know. That is why the Arbys is gone () and the club or whatever it was along with the shops. But the owners of Fudruckers will not let them tear down the dilapidated building. Which has delayed a lot of the construction. I know that they fixed the pot holes by repaving and such but they must get rid of that stop sign! I avoid it at all cost; i will go out of my way just to not have to go through it.
