emissions testing

Ok so I'm getting a new car, however, I'm worried about it not passing emissions, inspection should go just fine. But the car's running almost 13:1 compression and a very large cam, and nothing under 100 octane low lead gas.

The car's not going to be driven daily, but since i dont have a trailer it will be driven to the track. There will be less than 5k miles put on it a year, but i'm not sure how the exemption works.

Anyone have any ideas or a buddy that'll slap a set of stickers on the car?

It doesnt sound like it will pass emissions, and legally, you can't get the 5k exemption for the first inspection you get on a vehicle when owning it (what I was told at least).

Make some mechanic friends quick.

high performance car needs "high performance inspection"

if its under 5k your exempt from emissions... and i doubt anyone is stupid enough to post on a public forum about slapping stickers on your car

-pack of marlboros and a pack on newports are recommended ..

whats the mileage on the car now?? is it from PA??? if it has stickers on it now and its exempt, wait until you get your reg. then take it in for inspection. tell them it has less than 5k on it since last year. the tech has to take your word for it because they cant prove you didnt own the car for more than a year. you get what im saying. PM me for other info if want. theirs tons of ways around emissions.

this is true. in fact, it specifically says in the emissions training book to take the customers word that they have owned it for at least a year, and you need no proof.

the car's from ohio actually. I'm really not tooooo worried about it anymore as i'm finding quite a few ways around it now. But if something falls through i'll pop back in and ask you a question.
