My Big Decision: 7.5 Months Away

So in about 7 and a half months I am going to graduate from college with my MBA. I have a few job offers already and I have been giving long and hard thought about what kind of car to get when I graduate and get a job. I have basically narrowed my choices down and wanted some more outside opinions. I have gone through this many times and honestly, I think i change my mind every other week about what to get. Here are my narrowed down choices:

1) MKIV Supra TT
2) 350z Built and Boosted (would buy it stock)
3) Evo
4) STI

These are ranked in the order that I would want them as of today. The one con that I have against the Supra is that it is an older car and doesn't have some of the features that the newer cars have. Whatever I get, it will be daily driven. Please give me some of your insight.

Cliff Notes: I'm getting my MBA in May and need help on deciding what car to get.

Student loans, a $40,000 + car and home, even on $60,000 plus isn't a great way to start your graduation!!! Also, don't hold your breath for those job offers 7.5months away. Not many companies are willing to commit, hence the less signing bonuses offered. I think the average starting salary is down to 60 or so for a non-experienced MBA (still great money though).

Do you have student loans, if so, what's the interest rate? Pay that off first, you most likely have some debt.

With that said, the supra is the coolest one, but you are also getting the oldest car. The Evo and STI are probably the best for all year driving, as well as being DD.

And congrats on the "almost" graduation! On the way to big bucks!

That is a boon... its how I went from 24k/yr to 70k/yr in a day

I'm still not dumb enough to go trading my SRT in for a 40-50k car, or get a 2500/month condo.

Hell, I'm having issues with the $1285/month apartment and my car payments on the SRT. My only saving grace for this car is that its held its value so I feel bad getting rid of it.

But seriously, and honestly... if you want to really make money, get a cheap apartment, get a good job, save up, buy property. I car is the worst investment you can make at this time in your life.

If you can buy property young, you'll be able to retire young, and enjoy that car you bought when you sold your property at 40-45y/o for 750K that you bought 20 years earlier for 250-300k...

I'd LOVE to sell my SRT and get an older toyota that just plain works. But the car has held its value.. so I'm taking a chance to see what happens with that in 10-20 years

EVO, I love mine.

Don't listen to everyone in here. You only live once. You put your time in with getting an education now it is time to start enjoying yourself. Sure, saving is good, but that is easy, just start up an ING and have a set amount come out of your checking every week, its like you never had it. All of the advice in here is very well intentioned, personally though, its all about what makes you happy. When I graduated and got a job the first thing I did was buy a car. Why? Well because I love cars and it makes the daily commute somewhat enjoyable, I would not be as happy if I just went out and bought a Civic like everyone said I should do.

That only works if you have 2 or more houses. If you only have one then it doesn't work that way since if you sell high you will need a place to live thus forcing you to buy high.

even if its not houses, just buy land. If you see land on the outskirts of a rapidly expanding local town buy. Even if its not rapidly expanding do your research, theres a good chance it has huge projected growth.
