Middle aged honda accord owners are funny

back ground of story: A man on a motorcycle (man 1)stoped for a break in our parking lot. Another man (man 2) came from no where and started talking to the man on the motorcycle.

Man 2 commented on how he liked the other man 1's suzuki, but then proceeded to say "but you have to admit that nothing beats the reliablity of a honda, they make the best engines" You can tell by the look on the bikers face that he was thinking,"yea ok". Then man 2 proceeded to say "the best thing about hondas are the engines. They make the best engines. I have an 03 honda accord. The accord in 03 and 04 were the only years that honda outsourced there engines. Porsche built the engines in 03/04, because they were heavily involved in racing together." (i do not know if that is a fact or not) He then said, "My accord has tons of top end torque. It goes from 100-140 in 2 seconds!!" (i **** you not, he said two (2) seconds) "I was on my way home from a concert and we were blazin, not only drinking, and I raced a 350Z and blew the thing out of the water. Yea i can beat 350Z's and mustang GT's and cop cars. The only car i cant beat is the audi TT."

I was beyond hyterical hearing this from a man with gray hair, driving an accord. The biker pretty much rode away mid sentence cause that guy was getting annoying. He then approached me, asked me about a car for sale and then drove away in his honda.

the end

But I am sure the exhaust is angled for back pressure to have a faster spool-up for larger size turbochargers @ low RPM

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

My former boss told my GF (who still works with the company) that his BMW 740il will do 0-60 in 2-3 seconds. Even she knew enough about cars to have to bite the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing in his face-- after all he is(was) our boss.

He used to talk ish on my car until I tore him a new one from 0-115.
