I don't know if this belongs in Photog or the classifieds....

I'm NOT looking to sell outright, BUT will BUY the 18-55mm. I want to trade this for an 18-55mm or similar lens (the 18-55 is stock, the one that I want, and I don't have it).

I have a canon 35-80mm, other markings are 1:4-5.6 III and 52mm.

not sure if you're still looking for an 18-55mm but I have mine and I don't use it anymore. I got a 17-40L to replace it. Just shoot me a price, I'm not sure what they're going for.

I'm looking for the actual 18-55 lens if that's what your talking about (yes, it's the stock one on the rebel's), and I'll trade for my 35-80.

garrett, I really don't even know how much to offer for it straight up.

Den9, I'm looking to just pick up a used one, and I have a Canon Rebel so I don't know that the nikon lenses even work.

Yep thats exactly the one I'm talking about. Maybe we could work out some deal. Anything wrong with the 35-80?

Nothing at all...here is a somewhat recent picture that was shrunken down using MS paint and uploaded on imageshack, from 3megs down to 300kb. I suck at photography, but just to show that this is how it takes pictures...I'd also be willing to just buy the 18-55. I do kind of like this lens...let me know how much. I need the 18-55 as a "cheap" alternative to wide angle for taking pictures of rooms inside houses.

Weird I thought I had two 18-55 but I dont. I have two rebels (the XTI and my original film rebel). hmmm weird. Sorry im no help.
