Problem solved....

Oye.... yes I'm a retard.. First time ever I locked my keys in my car today. But wait...wait... heres the best part. My SPARE set is in the car too! Talk about rotten luck right? So... anyone ever used a slim jim or similar on their WRX? I have access to one here at work...I just need to know where abouts to find a grab point in the door or if its even possible on our doors. Anyone??

the rear window is a serious weakpoint in the car... you can pry the 'rear corner' of the rear window outward an inch or so quite easily, then get in there... but if the car isnt on then you'd have to manually move the lock switch which might be hard. when i locked my keys in the car was running so i just had to hit the window down switch. good luck!

Yeah its resolved... I worked on it for an hour with no luck.... succeeded in only marking up the plastic molding on the door card and slightly tearing some rubber molding around the door. I ended up having to get a ride to Roberts Subaru in downingtown (2 miles from where I work) and get them to cut me a spare based on my vin number for 8 bucks. Then I was so worried about being late to pick up my daughter, I ****ing curbed my passenger front rim backing out of my spot. ( i was parked beside an island). What an AWESOME day.

a modification on what troll aid - pry the rer corner of the front window out a bit, slide a stick or something in there, and hit the "unlock" switch with it.

or if you have skinny arms (I do) reach in and unlock it.

door stop and a presentation pointer (the long ones which you can extend and lock) is what I used without fail a few times

not that this will help you now that you have your spares locked in your car, but I've heard that if you locked your keys in your and you leave your spare at home, that the signal from the keyless entry remote can be transfered over your cell phone and it will unlock your car.

Buy a katana. You'd be surprised how many cars I've unlocked / rolled down the window with it.

Crack the window down as best as you can and angle the sword downwards and press whatever button. You can even get manual windows down with some force.
