i need a hiflow cat that will match up with stock 1997 ls exhaust. the car has a 3 inch downpipe from turbo and then 3 inch electric cut out. i need to pass inspections in jersey. so i was thinking about just getting a hiflow cat and welding it on or bolting it righht up. anyideas?? or the stock size of the ls exhaust??

I don't understand the question.

But if you don't have the welder, take it to a shop, tell them to weld-up a high flow cat, and you're golden. You can find universal high flow cats for cheap if you want/need one. If you don't need a cat, just weld in a straight pipe or resonator.

id get the high-flow cat and weld/bolt it up after the cutout. thats what i would do
