New Jersey inspection question

I have to get my car inspected this month and while I have modified it, I still have all the original emissions equipment on the car (2 cats etc.)

I think I would pass emissions without an issue (I do have a Unichip though) but my question is, do they pop your hood to look for carb exempt modifications?

I have a FMIC instead of the stock SMIC so they will see that right off the bat as the car is pulling up and the it has aftermarket stainless hardpipes and a K&N open air filter.

Will I be able to pass a visual inspection with these parts?

Thanks for any help.

Mark

Well for one, we are not in cali so they won't look for carb stickers. As long as you have a visual cat and are not throwing codes (obd2) you should be fine.
