aight what do you guys think about the kanye west vs 50 cent sales battle next week? my bro picked up the kanye west cd early since he is in the game and i have not turned it off i love it! 50s is well 50 same thing like all his other cds! what do you guys think?

indeed i am sick of 50! this kayne west cd is moving man. dude i can't turn this kanye cd off track 7, and 11 i can JAM ALL DAY. he brings back what hip hop is missing in almost all song now adays and thats a bass line. i mean a real bass not the bass drum that boom boom, he brings the funk back! the bass lines are so hot i will turn my bass up in the car to plus 12 (usually on -12) shoot in my fc i will put it up to 0 usually on -10 lowest i got! and what he is rapping about are real stories real songs not just guns and hoes like 50! sorry but i really think kaynes got this one packed! 50 said if he doesnt out sell kanye he is going to retire! PLEASE HELP HIM RETIRE
o and i don't care if its mostly sampled tracks they are funky and unique! i have not heard anyone jam beats like these. listening to this makes me feel like hip hop has a pulse again. i have been sick of all the weak and wack jams that have been pumping the bad blood in hip hop! chicken noodle soup with a soda on the side?? wtf who eats chicken noodle soup with a sprit? sorry sexy lady but i got to move on? wtf you a ugly mofo be happy you got a sexy girl on your side. dude sounds like that old song i got money milk is chilling(yuck) and that solider boy he needs to get a 203 to the chest!..lol killzone talk. but this makes me feel better that hip hop is starting to show life again with real beats and real raps! ok rant over!

50 cent should call this CD The Massacre 2 because it sucks just as bad...in a sales battle though, I am sure 50 cent will come off on top. Why? Hype and 1 nice single. Its weird because it seems that G~unit is the only group that came sell crappy records by one good single and hype. Seriously, take Lloyd Banks for example, his debut album was hot. All his singles and mixtapes at that time were hot and they all added to the albums legitimate hype. Fast forward to now and Lloyd Bank's new CD, its trash. Why? Because it sounds like he is trying to be his own hype man, his voice is higher pitched, and the content in general isn't new. Hype over single deception was in effect. Back to 50 cent, his cd is not new. All his singles are kind of hot but that is all.

50 cent said about Young Buck making his own record label, that "...in the end, its all despiration". Which is the truth. Young Buck knows all his money making days are over if he would have dropped another album on G~Unit. 50 cent would be getting paid before Young Buck ever see's royalties, he would not have sold enough to trump his first album. Young Buck recognized the game, and he knew Lloyd Bank's and 50 cent's second album didn't live up to their hype. Even though Young Buck's album was sold in the same manor(hype over single deception), he is making more money releasing his album on a different label than G~Unit.

As for kanye, I haven't heard any of his new album.

Cliff Notes:50 Cent will out sell kanye west despite his singles being damn near the only hot tracks on his album. This is not the first time 50 has sold a crappy LP with hot singles.

yeys album is fire bary bonds comes hard as hell and the rest of the album is amazing, didnt like drunk hot girls though, but other than that, fire. 50's album.........well what can i say......complete trash, lyricaly and in the production phase. Go get that west album im gonna get it when it comes out.

ok coming from somewhat of a 50/Gunit fan....
Ill admit some of the **** 50 put out is similar to his old stuf, not the whole album just a few. I can see where people could think he might fall off in sales because of that, but 50 is still 50 and has brought more drama into the "rap game". Drama albums/songs are PROVEN to make sales more then just a normal rap album, hands down. So either way i think if 50 wanted to make more, or ever thought one of his albums fell flat on there face after releasing he could easily pick some "beef" with someone, make a few killer tracks and boom there he is again sitting platinum because people will buy it. Just like at the beginning of 50's career with the Murder inc beef and , rat face killer himself, ja rule. (sidenote: look how he just picked "beef" with camron right before the upcoming release of B.C)

On to kanye....
Well i dont think ive heard all of the new album but im still not impressed with "stronger". 2nd if kanye's album sale ever drop off its not like he could pick "beef" to make **** sell lie 50, i mean really whos going to take him seriously? he raps about his jaw being wired on atleast one song a cd. ITS OLD. OK yes 50 may talk about the 9 shots he took and lived after but still kanye wasnt shot lol he was in a accident. Thats not "gangsta" lol. oh well...

Truthfully ive always thought what little wayne says about how to be successfull is by keeping your songs personal was right, but looking back people have to change topics if they plan on keeping personal topics to help them become more and more successfull.
