There have been so many good matches this year. The current Roddick v Federer match is shaping up to be another 5 set grudge match.

Unfortunately, it looks like a straight-setter now...it's an excellent matchup until it gets to the tiebreakers it seems.

The venus vs yankovic was a good match last night. Yank gave up in the end. Kind of dissapointing cause venus was defeating herself.

I went last monday during the day. Was able to see Jankovic, Hennin
and Feder. Pretty darn cool.
Last night was good Tennis, actualy there has been some very good games played this year. Roger is just so good. Him and Jokovic will be great match Hennin should win the womens singles pretty easy, especialy if Venus makes that many unforced errors! Holy crapoly.
Good stuff! I love tennis, speaking of, does anyone play?

Yeah, Blake/Santoro, Djokovic/Stepanick, Nadal/Ferrer, Jankovic/Bammer and Henin/S. Williams were all very entertaining matches.

Where exactly is it located? Is it outside NYC? It would be a lot of fun to go.

I played in high school gym class, I could never serve. It was very fun to play though. SO much harder than it looks.

I had higher hopes for Roddick last night, didnt think he was gonna beat Federer but I thought he would at least be able to break his serve.

I heard sunday the guy Federer played just quit before they were done with the 5 sets???

I played in High School, was Captain for two years. Was supposed to play in college (Div 1) but double major screwed that up.

I wasn't sure... never paid much attention to how they spell their names.
I haven't been in years, haven't been since the Aurthur Ash stadium was built. i used to go every year though. My room mate went this past weekend for the night matches.

I also haven't played in years but have been looking for someone to get together with and start back into it. as a kid i went to tennis camp and all that jazz. But I'm way out of shape now. so i'm sure it would be amusing. hahaha...

Well, if anyone is local to me id be happy to meet and hit some balls for awhile. Between Horsham and Phoenixville i travel. Dont worry, i am not good. I had some instruction last winter but thats it.
I to was excited about Andy since he has Connors as a coach now. The first two sets where some on the highest quality playing ive ever seen thou. Federer just took like 4 points that where most important ones. Seroiusly, its only takes like 6 more points out of hundreds to win the 3 sets needed to win a mens match. Very Very close tennis, but it dont look like it on paper.
