hvac changing lights red

looking for help changing my hvac lights red in my 05 sti. Found a walkthrough on nasioc but the guy did it in an 02 wrx. Anyone know where i should. I had the whole unit out and apart but cant get the knobs off to get to the bulbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jon
