ERL and GE are both very good sleeves to use. i have a friend who has a 900-950whp ERL superdeck and its quality is top-notch. i also know someone whos build an 800whp gsr that has ge sleeves.

ERL FTW They say that they can hold up to 1000 hp but I don't know if any one has proved them wrong.

I used ERL for my race motor and they used the Darton MID sleeves. I have not had any problems with the block.

you guys do know that erl doesnt make sleeves? They install sleeves. They use darton sleeves. I would suggest to just pick up a Dart Block, but then again that is based upon your ultimate goals. I think your question should be different, you should be askin weather you should be open or closed deck, then you can determine your sleeve brand

Benson sleeves
Darton sleeves
AEBS sleeves
GE sleeves

I've seen good results from all of them.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

Read above what I posted.

Also if you plan on running any series I would not get a dart block. I am pretty sure most sportsman classes do not allow dart blocks.

yea you are right they most dont allow dart block, but then again i dont see where he said he was building the block to compete in any specific class races. And no i didnt see what you put, i just seen his question and the first couple replies that kept sayin earl sleeves so i was just letting him kno they dont make sleeves. I still believe if you are going to invest the money in boring and sleeving, to go with a dart block. Problems can come up with sleeveing but then again depends upon how much power he is plannin on and also what type of setup. There are many advantages to a dart block over a sleeved gsr, and they really arent that much then what people think. Just my opinion
