I'm wondering if anyone commutes on the turnpike to Conshy from the phila area? I'm thinking about taking a job in Conshy and wonder what the commute time would be like in the morning. I live in Levittown and usually leave and get on the turnpike around 7:30. If it takes an hour, that's OK... but I have a feeling it's more than that!

route I think i'd take is 276w -> 476s -> conshy exit

if anyone can shed some light on their commute experiences it'd be greatly appreciated

I used to take that route EVERY day. I quit my job because of the 1.5+ hour commute. I is truly a horrible ride.

was there any times of day that worked out better than others? like hitting the road at 7am?

I get on the turnpike at Rt.1 in Bensalem and take it to 476S and get off at exit 18 for Norristown to go to the academy everyday. I leave at 6:10 and I'm there by 6:40. I can't say much for later on in the morning though.

I was on the road by 7:15, on at Rt 1, and at work in Conshy around 9. Sometimes I was there a half hour early, sometimes a half hour late. It's a crap shoot.

Uh i take 476 to conshy every day and work in town and lets just say every single day the on ramp to 76 and the exit ramp of 76 looks like HELL, i never see cars moving, a few co workers say you have to leave atleast a full hour earlyer
