I need a new windshield after driving on 95 two days ago, my engine was gettin hot so I put the heat on, and popped the hood to let some air in there, and normally hoods can't go up until the lever under the hood is pushed but needless to say my hood smashed my windshield about a minute later, i've done this several times and its never happened but whatev, anyone know where i can get a cheap windshield replacement? ps i'll post pics later for fun...

haha, sounds like that was a fun day

. just call around to body shops and glass places. people always think it's super expensive to replace glass but usually (unless you have a very rare or difficult to work on car) new windshields will not cost you more than about $200 including installation. make a few phone calls and you might be pleasantly surprised.

but also keep in mind that quality of windshields varies a great deal and unfortunately is often reflected in the price.
